Statement of Significance
This tree is an outstanding specimen of state significance. It is the largest known specimen in cultivation in Victoria (1981). and is a native of the coastal region from the NSW border to Rockhampton. The genus <I>Angophora</I> is closely allied to <I>Corymbia</I> and <I>Eucalyptus</I> but with a different leaf structure
