Statement of Significance

This relatively young tree showing fine form, health and extraordinary growth,planted in approximately 1924 by Phillip Chenoweth the local blacksmith as memorial to his wife Mary. ETSA have been for several years(over Christmas period) dressing the tree with illuminated decorations,this can be seen for miles & is a local landmark of local community significance.
