Statement of Significance
E.dalrympleana is a rare species.The Lenswood Valley once had many specimens of this species, however most cleared for orchards This is a tall huge magnificent tree; there is no other specimen in the area. It is locally known as Martin's Gum because John Martin, linen-draper at 94 Rundle Street, Adelaide, from 1886, once owned the property.
